A Sr. Sales Consultant serves as a technical resource and partner to the sales team. SCs are charged with the responsibility of scoping and conducting LNSSI technology Proofs of Concept (POC's), demos, technical presentations, working with customers and systems integrators, resolving customer issues, and providing installation and configuration support. A successful SC has a detailed understanding of the enterprise architectures, databases, programming, search technologies, and web technologies. The successful candidate should have a consultative sales style incorporating technical skills while delivering business value, yet focused on revenue and be willing to take the initiative to ensure that LNSSI wins the technology decision.

Accountabilities

  • A Sr. Sales Consultant serves as a technical resource and partner to the sales team. SCs are charged with the responsibility of scoping and conducting LNSSI technology Proofs of Concept (POC's), demos, technical presentations, working with customers and systems integrators, resolving customer issues, and providing installation and configuration support.

  • A successful SC has a detailed understanding of the enterprise architectures, databases, programming, search technologies, and web technologies.

  • The successful candidate should have a consultative sales style incorporating technical skills while delivering business value, yet focused on revenue and be willing to take the initiative to ensure that LNSSI wins the technology decision.

Qualifications

  • Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. May have project lead role.

  • 5- 7 years combination of field sales and project management experience.

  • Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Must possess knowledge of key industry leaders and management.

  • Knowledge of LNSSI competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience.

  • Some understanding of software and consulting arenas. Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers.

  • Travel may be required.

  • BA/BS degree in related field.

  • TS/SCI clearances preferred
