This position exists to provide leadership and direction to a team of sales support professionals toward meeting objectives in the areas of: 1) increasing LexisNexis preference among law students, librarians and professors 2) increasing Active Users, customer satisfaction, and market penetration in Large Law .

Accountabilities

  1. Achieve expense control objectives.

  2. Develop strategic contacts and business relationships with key individuals within the territory.

  3. Develop relationships with key support providers within the LexisNexis organization.

  4. Ensure timely and effective follow through with National Law School & Large Law Marketing Strategies within territory.

  5. Maximize the potential of every team member to contribute to the goals and objectives of LexisNexis by serving as a coach, facilitator, functional resource and leader.

  6. Manage team performance by setting appropriate expectations, monitoring performance and giving timely and effective feedback. Identify and address performance issues in an effective and timely manner.

  7. Effectively allocate sales resources to maximize input on overall region

  8. Effectively utilize allocated marketing dollars for maximum preference impact on the region

Qualifications

  1. J.D. or MBA preferred

  2. 5-8 years professional sales experience in a similar selling environment

  3. 2-3 years sales management experience a plus

  4. Strong written and oral communication skills

  5. Strong negotiation skills

  6. Strong analytical skills

  7. Strong project management skills
