RELX Group Paralegal in Washington, District Of Columbia



Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals.


  • Perform legal and factual research

  • Perform records research

  • Organize and analyze information for standard contracts

  • Cross-check and validate information

  • Prepare written reports as requested

  • Draft standard legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts and legal memoranda

  • Help prepare legal arguments, applications, declarations and motions

  • Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy

  • Build and maintain databases and files

  • Organize and track all legal department files

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Associates Degree and or Paralegal certification required.

  • Minimum of 2- 3 years Law Firm or Corporate Paralegal experience working with state and federal government contracts

  • In depth knowledge of state and federal, including FAR, laws and regulations

  • Thorough knowledge of legal research techniques

  • Thorough knowledge of legal terminology

  • Thorough knowledge of legal communication principles and practices 6. In depth knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations

  • Relevant computer knowledge and experience
