RELX Group Sales Assistant in United States
Location: United States
Position is responsible for providing detailed level sales support and analysis focusing on the specific Business Unit being supported. Duties will include reporting, implementing and problem solving abilities in a fast-paced environment involving multiple products.
Ability to perform individually or with minimal supervision higher level account maintenance, such as mass user moves and account consolidation for strategic accounts; identifying products in order to research and provide answers.
Shares existing knowledge with other team members while continuing to engage internal and external team members in order to answer complex questions, solve issues, and increase system, process, and product knowledge. Attends required team meetings and suggests agenda items; volunteers for projects and works with other team members to complete.
Ability to answer most Sales Reps questions independently on specific products and/or engage appropriate internal resources for work-flows and processes. Work internally with a variety of teams (including sales, management, product managers, customer service, fulfillment, marketing, credentialing and accounting) to help ensure successful completion of projects and tasks.
Expected to know documentation and able to interpret processes based on circumstances for more advanced situations such as pricing anomalies, forms to be utilized, possible barriers or limitations with setup and contracts. Provides input to Manager for documentation development and revision. Research any pending account set ups, maintenance requests, pricing changes and product questions to expedite completion.
Identifies issues and engages multiple internal teams to solve problems. Implement process/procedure changes to increase efficiency and improve customer experience. Participate in internal task forces, UAT for new systems, and special projects as required. Familiar with most internal reporting systems and with guidance is able to produce reports with revenue, volume and account specifics to assist Sales Reps in account planning and business reviews.
Associates Degree or equivalent related experience and 3 to 5 years Customer Sales Support experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially when dealing with external customers.
Ability to coordinate, implement and manage multiple ongoing projects.
Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills
Advanced ability to discern critical details and their impact.
Proven ability to prioritize and adapt to intense workloads, schedules and diverse situations.
Extremely adaptable with the ability to perform higher level tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Product Knowledge, Product Development and Product Implementation Support.
Possess strong commitment to team environment
Ability to work independently
Minimal Travel to provide on-site customer support, scheduled meetings and cross training.
Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, MYCRM, MBS and other business systems used within RELX.
