As the Senior Sales Manager, you will provide overall strategic leadership and functional management of all sales activities for the Emerging Markets & and Corporate team.

Our Emerging Markets & Regulatory Compliance team champions innovation through the discovery and production of tomorrow’s products today. We have the freedom to create, identify and pursue new opportunities, challenge expectations and make an impact on the global success of LexisNexis.

This role facilitates both a customer-centric strategic and operational focus on current and prospective market segments in Australia by leading sales teams in sales and strategy development.

You will:

The role encompasses both growth and new business targets, and you will work closely with your team to ensure all forecasting and pipelining is on plan.

You will work closely with the Executive Director to identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategic and tactical plans to pursue and execute on these.

Specifically you will come with:

  • A minimum of 10senior management experience preferably gained in an information or software solutions environment involving strong solutions sales and marketing.

  • Experience leading a team through periods of change, as well as mentoring and coaching individuals

  • Demonstrated performance against sales objectives, preferably in a complex solution selling environment

  • High level presentation skills, and well-developed verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, communicate, and negotiate with all levels of a business.
