This newly created career opportunity will manage the roadmap of major enhancements for one or more of our core product portfolios based on: customer needs and value, business drivers, market trends, and product strategy.

As the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible fordeveloping and executing the strategy for your product portfolio by:

  • collaborating with stakeholders across the business, particularly global technology teams;

  • engaging with customers to understand current and emerging needs;

  • exploring commercial opportunities and delivering business cases;

  • identifying features and products for development and prioritisingdevelopments;

  • initiating, managing and delivering projects to ensure the ongoing health and profitability of the portfolio;

  • monitoring emerging market trends, and acting on insights in the legal/ social/ technological/ commercial landscape.

Key requirements for the role include:

  • relevant tertiary qualifications, undergraduate degree in business, law, or publishing;

  • a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a publishing, strategic, product management, and/or technology position;

  • demonstrated aptitude for analysis and problem solving;

  • ability to translate customer imperatives and business drivers into product requirements and user stories;

  • strong commercial focus, including business case development experience;

  • experience executing large scale, multi-strand content or product roadmaps;

  • thorough understanding of Agile methodology.

Previous experience in legal information and technology environment will be highly regarded.
