Senior Product Manager I

Job Responsibilities

  • Profit & Loss tracking and reporting, use of trend and statistical analysis to drive decisions;

  • Investigation of revenue driving opportunities, and execution of same;

  • Maintenance of GM and COS figures and reporting against targets;

  • Investigation of opportunities for divestment, as required, or other necessary commercial decisions;

  • Preparation of budget and forecasting on products (over all formats);

  • Prepare regular product and portfolio reviews;

  • Track subscriber and revenue information on a per-product basis;

  • Make key decisions in relation to product and development;

  • Maintenance of product performance dashboard;

  • Conduct regular CDI for the various segments.

  • Support the sales and marketing teams with information relating to the product catalogue;

  • Build effective relationships with colleagues, customers (internal and external) and management to ensure efficient execution of tasks and roadmaps;

  • Work with Global Ops colleagues to ensure functional operation of products;

  • Develop and articulate forward-facing digital content strategy;

  • Develop product enhancements and product roadmaps;

  • Work with Strategy team to ensure alignment of activity to overarching business strategy;

  • Make key decisions in relationship to products, and be accountable for all matters relating to products within portfolio;

Qualifications

  • Tertiary Education Qualification required (Law, Business, Computer Science or related field);

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Internet skills;

  • Experience in software development or coding languages advantageous;

  • Sound working knowledge of product workflow from idea conception through to customer delivery;

  • Prior commissioning or commercial management experience preferred;

  • Experience in product development would be advantageous;

  • High-level of accountability;

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills;

  • Solid project management and an ability to work to tight deadlines;

  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills;

  • Demonstrated strategic and commercial acumen;
