Summary: As a Product Manager I you will own a product feature and lead project execution. You will own the development plan and represent features within the PM team, and work with an internal network across product domains. You will master a solid understanding of the customer and market, and will represent the needs of the customer to the development team. You will support and participate in product demos to key stakeholders at program milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Focus

  • Interact with customers to represent requirements and understand key customer needs and market basics.

  • Stay up to date on news/incidents and understand what is happening in the market and with competitors.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis

  • Independently analyze and use data to make decision recommendations.

  • Compare and evaluate various possibilities, and make recommendations for action that consider business implications.

  • Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle

  • Execute on go to market launch plans as required.

  • Work directly with internal business partners (e.g. sales) to gather and assess product needs in the marketplace.

  • Train and educate internal business partners (e.g. sales, marketing)

  • Contribute to building collateral and marketing materials and provide input and expertise.

  • Directly address customer complaints.

  • Interact independently with customers through in person and remote communication, e.g. at various customer events.

  • Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle

  • Lead the execution of a product roadmap for a single feature area.

  • Understand and use the drivers for improving the customer experience.

  • Coordinate development activities and ensure quality.

  • Define and prioritize requirement changes for engineering and perform analysis to meet acceptance criteria.

  • Participate and contribute to process improvement activities.

  • Understand the technology stack at a high level, for your feature area.

  • Use technologies to assist day-to-day tasks (Excel, Balsamiq, Tableau, Python, SQL, etc.).

Experience and Education

  • Preferred years of PM experience: 2-4 years

  • Critical Experiences:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with others to modify or maintain a product and identify technology challenges.

  • Demonstrated readiness to engage in customer engagements.

  • Demonstrated readiness to engage in work under minimal supervision.

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) or JD is preferred
