RELX Group Data Specialist in Reston, Virginia
Location: Reston, Virginia, United States
The Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring that mortgage real estate sanctions that are scheduled to be uploaded to the computer system meets a set of data quality rules. This person will perform data entry functions in the computer system, create batches, validate and ensure data accuracy and quality on ongoing basis. Also responsible for researching and downloading mortgage real estate sanctions, assist to document source document receipt, and serve as back-up quality control reviewer.
For this role we need an individual with the ability to focus on details while keeping the big picture in mind, process source documents in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring accuracy, and problem solving skills.
Experience and Education
Require High School degree or GED equivalent
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Prepare source data for data entry
Verify data by reviewing and correcting data entry
Combine and rearrange data from source documents
Enter data accurately in computer database
Check completed work for accuracy
Maintain electronic records and scan hard copies
Ensure all work is completed accurately and recorded in electronic queue
Respond to Senior Data Specialists requests for additional source documents
Research source documents for additional information
Data entry skills
