As a member of the Center for Automation and Process Excellence team in LexisNexis Operations, you will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise and leadership in all aspects of BPM, RPA and AI solution design to deliver composite automation frameworks. The outcome is to help reduce time, improve efficiencies and reduce costs of executing business processes.
As a Sr. Automation Consultant, you will focus on setting technical direction for development teams and responsible for coordinating across technology teams to deliver intelligent automation solutions in a matrixed organization. You will also be responsible to drive the deployment of automation solutions that satisfy business requirements along with managing the design, build and test of automation solutions.
Own delivery of RPA (UI Path preferred), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and BPM (Appian preferred) solutions – design, build, test, deploy and provide oversight for one or more in-flight automation implementations.
Perform hands on RPA development to deliver scalable and stable solutions
Design solutions involving data science algorithms and enabled automation using Python & R for unstructured data
Handle code level issues and solve technical challenges - must have full stack development experience. Hands-on BPM is a plus.
Work with technology and business partners to build implementation plan for automation projects
Work with change management and production readiness teams to prepare for automation solution deployment
Qualify and estimate automation solutions for BPM, RPA or AI Delivery
Design and communicate the physical architecture (infrastructure requirements) to deploy automation solutions
Deploy enterprise BPM, RPA and AI governance processes, monitoring tools and fine tune / address performance issues
Create a support model including upgrades, defect fixes and any process change activities
Mentor and enable technology teams across enterprise to be self-sufficient in delivering automation solutions
This is an individual contributor role initially which will focus on providing thought leadership and guidance to our partners on identifying automation use cases, designing solutions and assist with delivery.

Experience with leveraging cloud-based machine learning platforms like Microsoft Azure or Amazon webservices
Lead and manage complex automation delivery in agile environment
End to end deployment of machine learning solutions
Design solutions for scale, resiliency and security in cloud environment
BPM design & development
Ability to leverage machine learning algorithms to enable BPM and RPA solutions
Experience using Docker
1. 1. BS or MS in Engineering (or equivalent) + MBA (Preferred)
- 2.Total IT experience – 5-8 years of which
a. 1+ years of experience in implementing solutions using technologies such as Python, Java, Ruby, Scala and C#.NET
b. 2+ years of experience in RPA tools like UiPath (Preferred), BluePrism, WorkFusion, etc.
c. 1+ years of experience in implementing tools like Appian (preferred) and Pega BPM is a plus.
d. 1+ years of database programming experience -MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer (Preferred)
f. 1+ years of experience in creations and consumption of REST and SOAP services
g. 1 year’s experience with using Docker for building applications based on containers
3. 3. Understanding of BPM, RPA and AI infrastructure setup & good understanding of assisted vs unassisted robotics implementations
4. 4. Knowledge of Citrix environment with RPA Tools + Knowledge of OCR libraries or tools is a plus
5. 5. High level communication skills and be able to produce documentation to a high standard
6. 6. Experience in working with matrix organizations and handling ambiguity and unstructured environment
7. 7. Understanding of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and the requirement management lifecycle
8. 8. Experience working in Agile Framework, DevOps (CI/CD) and collaborative tools (VersionOne, GIT, Jenkins etc.)
9. 9. Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills are required, change and conflict management skills, ability to influence and negotiate with others to meet project deadlines
10.10.Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners, team members and managers to develop solutions
11.11.Exposure or experience in the assessment and testing of Internal Controls in accordance with Compliance regulations (e.g. GDPR, SOX 404)
