This position is the strategic partner to the global heads of technology and product and their teams. The role leads a four-person team of HR professionals who are responsible for providing the complete range of strategic, pro-active Human Resources services in support of LexisNexis’s digital technology transformation; the Senior Director is also the HR Site Lead for Raleigh.

Key Roles and Accountabilities will Include:

  • Function as the HR focal point for the global heads of technology and product (and their respective teams) by participating as a senior member of their client group(s).

  • Function as counselor and confidante in all areas of Human Resources and work to identify and address issues or concerns in a timely and pro-active manner.

  • Provide counseling assistance in organization structure and design to ensure support of the short and long-term goals of the organization.

  • Lead the Talent Development/Organizational Talent Review (OTR) Process in assigned client group(s) to ensure assessment, development, and succession planning.

  • Communicate and reinforce the company's values, beliefs and philosophies about people to enable us to develop a high performing organization.

  • Drive effective implementation of the performance appraisal process to accomplish strategic initiatives and build a culture of effective coaching and feedback between managers and employees.

  • Drive company culture change by diagnosing current and desired states, gaps between them and actions necessary to move from one to the other.

  • People management responsibilities for a team of HR professionals which includes the development of performance appraisal objectives, providing feedback as appropriate and identifying developmental needs.

  • Ensure equitable and consistent administration of the company's compensation programs working with Compensation and senior management to design customized programs when necessary (i.e., variable compensation, group incentive plans, etc.).

  • Serve as HR Site Lead in partnership with the Business Site Lead.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business or HR related field highly desired or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years’ HR experience

  • 3-5 years’ strategic level experience

  • PHR/SPHR (Professional in Human Resources/Sr. Professional in Human Resources) Certification Preferred
