Integrated Marketing Manager


Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States

TheIntegrated Marketing Manager will develop Marketing plans specific to the Academic Segment, inclusive of online and offline Marketing channels, to meet or exceed net new business and customer retention goals. The ideal candidate is a dynamic Marketer who is curious, customer-centric, and data-driven. The Integrated Marketing Manager role is part of the Nexis Solutions Marketing Team, reporting to the Director, U.S. Marketing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and drive implementation of strategic integrated marketing program to support new business growth and customer retention goals in the Academic Segment.

  • End-to-end ownership of the Academic Integrated Marketing plan including: incorporating customer insights into Marketing campaigns, developing creative briefs, amplifying content across channels, planning Marketing tactics and timing, and driving business outcomes for each channel.

  • Responsible for executing tactics across marketing channels, including Events,Webinars, Search, Partnerships, SEO, Display, Social, and Nurture.

  • Manage budget and ensure achieving positive ROI across the Marketing plan.

  • Partner closely with the Sales Team to ensure Marketing is providing innovative, revenue-generating and cross-sell programs to achieve Marketing and Sales goals.

  • Collaborate closely with the Segment Marketing Team to further integrate messaging across channels for an optimal marketing mix.

  • Manage program execution and proactively monitor progress to achieve deadlines and results.

  • Work with analytics partners to clearly understand performance, analyze trends, business results and use this data to develop new actions to improve results.

  • Design and implement quarterly tests and/or pilot new programs to make go-forward recommendations and present and share learning and recommendations across the marketing organization.

  • Develop deep knowledge and understanding of the target consumer to identify key insights that can be leveraged in Marketing plans.

  • Build partnerships with Product, Creative, and Web Teams and look for areas to leverage integrated programs across the Nexis Solutions organization.

Knowledge and Skills

  • 3-5 years relevant marketing experience creating and executing marketing plans.

  • Experience partnering with agencies, developing media strategy and insight-based advertising.

  • Experience in building integrated programs across paid and owned channels, both online and offline.

  • Strong Event execution expertise ranging from event selection, creating an engaging experience at the event, partnering with Sales Teams to maximize business outcomes, and conducting ROI analysis for each event.

  • Demonstrates ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to translate consumer insight into successful marketing programs.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and to deliver strong results.

  • Strong strategic, analytic and creative judgment skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment using sound judgment in decision-making.

  • Pardot, Adobe Suite, Moz, Google Analytics, and Bing Webmaster experience a plus!

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, a related field and/or equivalent education required.
