Event Coordinator


Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States

The Event Coordinator is responsible for executing marketing, product and sales event plans that promote LexisNexis products and services to existing and potential customers through external and internal events. An Event Coordinator implements event plans by partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors and associations, in order to effectively implement the program plan while adhering to budget parameters and timeline constraints. This position requires a high level of project management and cross-functional communication skills.


  1. Coordinate events execution based on brand marketing strategies and product goals to achieve measurable results while meeting timelines and budget constraints

  2. Effectively project manage all event activities, including logistics, creative development, budget, staffing plan, etc.

  3. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors and associations to ensure seamless event execution

  4. Develop and maintain events calendar, timeline and budgets to ensure effective events execution

  5. Regularly communicate event plan, status, responsibilities, etc. with cross-functional team members

  6. Evaluate event execution and request feedback from cross-functional team, reporting overall results and recommendations to greater team and brand managers

  7. Travel to and support onsite execution and coordination of key events, including set up and tear down when needed


  1. Bachelor's Degree required, Experience with B2B technology products preferred

  2. Minimum of two years of experience events planning and coordination

  3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results.

  4. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally.

  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

  6. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills.
