This position will be part of a global marketing team and lead all U.S. marketing related strategies and implementation including marketing planning, objective setting, digital strategy, marketing campaign initiatives and processes to meet lead generation and new business sales goals and build brand equity. Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply strategies and tactics for marketing activity with a strong focus on digital marketing programs (SEO/SEM/Blogs/Social), websites, events/webinars and lead generation programs is required. Oversee a high-performing team of marketers who develop and implement marketing plans and programs across various industries and to a wide array of personas and provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure all marketing metrics are met.

Accountabilities:

-Plans and directs all aspects of marketing for the U.S. market and provides clear visibility to marketing and sales leadership on key monthly performance metrics and goals.

-Leads the process and development of marketing plansdesigned to drive strong lead generation, marketing contributed POS of $5M or greater and brand equity for Nexis Solutions business.

-Drives best practices in digital marketing, social media, direct marketing, events, website management and SEO across product groups.

-Leads the team to manage and grow online performance of marketing campaigns through SEO, website promotion, SEM, Display, Blog, Social Programs and Retargeting.

-Establishes and achieves lead generation, conversion and revenue goalstied to marketing campaigns and programs.

-Establishes and achieves marketing expense budget goals including managing a budget of >$700K.

  • Oversees the use of marketing automation programs to drive best practices in targeting, segmentation, engagement, content marketing and campaign roll-out.

-Establishes strong working relationships with other cross-functional teams including sales, product, content and segment planning leadership. Partners with them to ensure marketing aligns with all relevant business objectives.

-Works collaboratively with Sales leaders to align on goals and set expectations on lead process and build a strong partnership between Sales and Marketing organizations.

-Manages a team of 4-5 marketers and provides ongoing coaching to ensure all plans are executed flawlessly, all goals are met, and team members are afforded development opportunities to grow in their careers.

-Provides clear visibility to senior leadership team on key monthly performance metrics and goals.

-Continuously innovates by identifying, evaluating and testing new acquisition channels, strategies and tactics for maximum ROI.

-Partners/collaborates/brainstorms with other marketing leaders around the globe on strategies and programs to drive exceptional results and strong marketing ROI.

-Works effectively in a matrix environment and across a global team.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 7-10 years marketing experience, primarily in a B2B environment.

  2. Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.

  3. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

  4. Strong project management and reporting skills

  5. Very proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  6. A strategic, creative and analytical mind.

  7. Experience and success in managing people.

  8. Experience leading marketing activities that will deliver leads for sales and positive brand equity.

  9. Track record of successful digital marketing leadership that has driven prospect awareness, engagement, acquisition and revenue growth.

  10. Identifies changes in the marketplace or competitive strategies and evaluates/adjusts the organization's marketing plan and philosophy accordingly.

  11. Knows and applies basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand architecture, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, customer segmentation).

  12. Understands core principles of the Buyer Journey and how to use a variety of marketing channels and assets to move the buyer through the funnel.

  13. Ability to work effectively through others and interface persuasively with other individuals throughout the organization, a team player.

  14. Knowledge/experience in marketing technology and content products and services a strong plus.

  15. Experience working in a global organization a plus.
