This position is a hunting role focused on developing new partner relationships for the Health Care vertical within LexisNexis Risk Solutions. The relationships that this position works to establish and expand are with partners that are identified as being most strategic to LN. These partnerships will take the form of Resellers of LN products, System Integrators and Software Integrators. This person is the primary owner of communication of the partners value throughout LN, primarily to the LN sales force. He/She coordinates cross functional LN resources to ensure alignment of partner activities with the strategies that exist within LN and within LN's vertical markets.

This position is home based with flexibility on location. Travel 30-40% based on candidate's geographic location.

Accountabilities

  • Meet or Exceed Revenue objectives.

  • Responsible for the evaluation of existing relationships, the development of a strategy to grow the relationships and execution against the strategy.

  • Coordinate efforts cross functionally within LN to identify organizations that could potentially become LN partners.

  • Provide all day to day support that might be required by the partner or by the LN field in working with the partner.

  • Development and management of a partner account plan that defines specific initiatives and projects on which to focus with the goal of driving incremental revenue for LN.

  • Develop research analysis techniques to determine customer prospects that LexisNexis RISK products and solutions can meet prospective customer business needs.

  • Manage customers, clients and prospective clients with clear communication and needs analysis.

  • Clearly demonstrate your understanding of LexisNexis pricing, administrative procedures, and organization to effectively answer clients questions or implement solutions in a timely fashion

  • Maintain a current understanding of RISK competitor offerings (i.e., price, product, service, or solution) so that you can effectively sell the advantages of RISK over that offered by its competitors.

  • Provide product expertise and strategy for data assets of respective accounts

  • Facilitate the planning and execution of technology needs of assigned accounts

  • Drive product improvement and innovation to assigned account(s) via LN services and solutions

  • Act as liaison between assigned account(s) and LN in reference to corporate strategy

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of at least 5 years sales experience and at least 3 years of experience in the decision support and information and services industry with the development of revenue producing partnerships (reseller, integrator or ISV) (total of 7 years minimum) and a proven track record in direct and/or indirect sales.

  • Health Care experience in the payer/provider markets highly desired

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, initiatives and sales campaigns to completion while maintaining attention detail.

  • Direct or indirect sales experience working with senior executives of large organizations to coordinate the efforts of complex sales campaigns.

  • Past participation in contract negotiations.

  • Ability to work in a matrix team environment.
