This position performs simple data management and analysis tasks within a specific functional area or data type
1 + years engineering experience.
Require High School degree or GED equivalent
Prefer Bachelor's Degree (Engineering/Computer Science preferred but not required)
Knowledge with development languages such as SQL, Unix, Linux, XML, HPCC, etc.
Strong Knowledge with various data types and formats including, but not limited to: XML, flat files, delimited, etc.
Strong proofreading skills to see how data and facts can be linked together to create more meaningful conclusions.
Ability and desire to learn new processes, tools, and technologies.
Good research skills.
Basic File management knowledge
Attention to detail.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Business support through data analysis and research.
Run data profiles.
Conducts routine data review and verification and ensures collection/corrections/clarifications are made in a timely manner.
Investigate, track, and report data issues.
Complete simple data engineering bug fixes.
Keep abreast of new technology developments.
Undertake and complete new data onboarding and/or production data management functions as assigned/required.
Resolve and/or guide data sources in resolving basic data issues within specific functional area or data type.
Produce basic adhoc data counts, stats, examples as required.
Internal and/or external customer interface
All other duties as assigned.
