Account Manager - Life Science Sales


Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania, United States

The Account Manager PDR3D manages market presence and revenue across thPDR3D client base. The Account Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue objectives by renewing and up-selling existing subscription contracts and by generating new business. This position will work closely with other functional colleagues across the organization. Accountabilities
  1. Meet and exceed revenue objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  2. Account Development: complete market analysis to identify new revenue opportunities

  3. Establish new contacts: create a pipeline and develop business relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and end-users

  4. Communicate the PDR3D value by presenting to clients and prospects through virtual and webinar demos and infrequent in-person meetings

  5. Record activity: maintain accurate records and events in NetSuite CRM

  6. Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager with assigned customers

  7. Create targeted, solution-oriented proposals with appropriate positioning and pricing for software and services

  8. Develop and track pipeline within assigned territory utilizing CRM and report weekly on pipeline/forecast/opportunity progression

  9. Work with clients and internal partners through issue resolution to drive customer satisfaction

  10. Represent product portfolio through speaking engagements, industry events and trade shows

  11. Maintain awareness of customer needs and industry trends and use information to optimize market position


  1. Bachelor’s degree

  2. Minimum 5 years of sales experience

  3. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  4. Exceptional presentation, communication, organizational, analytical and time management skills

  5. High level of professionalism and ability to interface with key decision makers and executives Solid understanding of solution selling value proposition

  6. Functional knowledge of negotiation process

  7. Demonstrated ability to work in sales team environments

  8. Legal or life science sales experience preferred

  9. Strong organizational and time management skills

  10. Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM applications
