Marketing Data Quality Analyst


Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States

This position is responsible for the analyzing and cleansing of detailed customer and prospect data from internal and external data sources. The individual will partner closely with key internal stakeholders to identify data cleansing needs and opportunities.


  1. Create, document and implement processes that will increase the accuracy of data within the marketing databases

  2. Perform data stewardship/maintenance of customers and prospects

  3. Ensure data standards are and SLAs are met

  4. Communicate effectively on the status of tasks and projects in progress

  5. Manage contractor relationships

  6. Responsible for extracting data out of database for data cleansing by writing data queries

  7. Manage the offshore team through execution of the project. Provide day-to-day direction on process related activities

  8. Perform quality control audits for work completed by offshore team and vendors

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  2. Experience in data quality, analysis or working with large datasets

  3. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams consisting of US and International-based employees, as well as vendor resources in multiple locations and time zones

  4. Strong project management, cross functional facilitation, communication and presentation skills

  5. Demonstrable knowledge of SQL or other database query language

  6. Ability to partner with Business Units on implementation of initiatives identified in strategic plans

  7. Ability to provide detailed information and along with the ability to summarize effectively for management

  8. Ability to work under pressure and within an environment of constant change

  9. Excellent organization and analytical skills

  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office products
