Basic Job Function
This position exists to perform advanced editorial tasks and data maintenance in order to maintain quality and currentness for Caselaw, Citations and Statutes, along with related enhancements for online and offline legal research, print and manual products. Individuals in this role will also support offshore editors in maintaining quality and currentness for their processing.|
Performs advanced/complex processes and database content maintenance for all products.
Prepares, reviews and updates print products for quality and completeness before release to customers.
Performs troubleshooting and answers content and process questions within the organization and for offshore vendors.
Consistently meets or exceeds production expectations. 5. Consistently meets or exceeds quality standards.
Establish collaborative working relationships with peers across the Editorial organization and with offshore vendors.
Represent team or unit production needs in project or task force settings.
Must be able to participate in discussions regarding work processes and policies that help in process improvement for online and offline products. 9. Assist in creation of training materials/job aids/documentation.
Applies basic Customer and Business understanding to address and resolve customer questions (internal & external).
Understand the fundamentals of legal analysis tasks. 12. Identify potential conversion and content errors and escalate appropriately.
13 Advanced understanding of XML editor and XML tags within day-to-day responsibilities in fab-editor 14. Test .
Foster a positive work environment by supporting team and unit goals, values, and process changes.
Performs auditing and support of vendor work as needed. 16. May be required to work on-call and/or to work different shift hours to accommodate varying time zones. 17. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Ability to teach, mentor and provide feedback to peers across the editorial organization and for offshore vendors.
Ability to assist in auditing and support of offshore vendor work. 17. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity.
