Implementation Project Mgr - Financial Banking (AML)


Location: Boca Raton, Florida, United States

We are seeking a home-based project manager to work directly with our customers on projects to implement new products, to manage changes to current products, and to streamline processes. This resource will be working in an individual contributor role with our customers who are currently utilizing several products across multiple platforms. Travel to customer sites is not expected.

This position will be focused on our Financial Services products. Experience in this area as described below is key:

  • Good understanding of Financial Banking Domains, AML , Financial Budget management basics and strong experience in SDLC ( project life cycle), product implementation, change management.

  • Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Office suite as a whole and the integration among different banking domains and AML products, components and services a plus.

  • Familiar with AML, Fraud, Risk banking domains, understanding the Compliance and Regulatory policies & processes.

  • Experience and good knowledge of financial banking industry is preferred. Understanding of financial Compliance regulatory initiatives such as BSA AML, FinCEN, GLBA, OFAC, USA Patriot Act is a plus.

You will be working with the customer's technical project manager to understand their needs and our internal resources to make sure we are meeting the needs and timelines of the client. While we do not anticipate this person to have a technical background, it is important that you are able to function as a liaison between the technical resources and the customer. You will be communicating with the customer on a regular basis and must be able to keep the project on track from a timeline perspective as well as be able to provide updates, both positive and negative, to the customer.

The projects may vary based on the specific need of the customer so we are seeking someone who has the ability to determine the next step needed for the customer and to be able to adapt to changes quickly.

Additional accountabilities:

  • Quickly assess customer sensitivities, communication style, and organizational culture and adapt project to be successful in this environment. Effectively work with senior level customers. Professionally represent the company to the customer and the customer to internal teams. Rapid and accurate follow-up. Deliver negative information as effectively as positive. Anticipate customer concerns in completeness of responses. Demonstrate excellent judgment in what and how information is shared

  • Correctly involve sales, product, credentialing, account management, account setup, customer education, operations and technology as needed; Work effectively within set-up processes or work to improve and change processes; Keep leadership informed and escalate appropriately

  • Deliver projects as committed - Construct, track and execute documentation to support the project such as project plans, Gantt and other charts, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, SOPs, training and program notes; Develop solutions to keep project on-track; Demonstrate creativity in overcoming roadblocks; Anticipate and navigate around unforeseen circumstances, risk situations and worst case scenario; Document work in an organized and reusable format


  • BA/BS or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5-7+ years work experience in customer facing project management role; Minimum 2 to 3-year hands-on experience in project management preferred, implementation roles working with technology or business or senior management in defining, executing & implementing large projects

  • Strong project/process management tool kit - Process flow, Project plans, Project/process graphing and charting, Microsoft Project & Visio preferred

  • Good business and technical documentation skill.

  • Customer facing communications (good and bad news). Excellent verbal and written communicator, Capable of conveying technical terms and solution proposals clearly

  • Sound judgment consistently applied correctly in new situations

  • Outstanding representative of the company

  • Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills, and able to work under pressure and creatively. Quick, intuitive study in new situations
