Director Product Management - Compliance


Location: Boca Raton, Florida, United States

Director Product Management – Compliance is responsible for our global Financial Crimes and Compliance (FCC) product portfolio and a significant revenue area of business requiring extensive coordination. This role serves as the FCC Product Owner of a large scale agile team responsible for prioritizing and clarifying items in the product backlog and is responsible for defining outcomes and key result. The position proposes new business or product strategies, and provides input on ‘build vs buy’ decisions. This position will also have direct management responsibility for several product managers /area product owners, including responsibility for their recruitment and development.


  • Interacts with customers frequently and understands their use cases and business in great depth.

  • Defines and articulates a clear product strategy within a specific market and/or geography. Ensure product strategy considers buy, build or partner options.

  • Thoroughly understands competitive products and strategy, and how they influence customer decisions.

  • Drives formulation of overall research/testing strategy and ensures product decisions are based on data.

  • Evaluates intangible and/or cross-business implications of strategic decisions.

  • Develops go-to-market strategy and launch plans at the product level through coordination with stakeholders and is accountable for coordinated execution across product, sales, marketing and other customer facing teams.

  • Establish aggressive KPIs and OKR’s for the team to measure success.

  • Evangelize product for sales, customers, and media.

  • Anticipates market changes; adapts and adjusts product strategy as needed.

  • Actively gathers data from multiple sources (customer, market, revenue, etc.) to drive effective solutions to business problems and strategic issues.

  • For being an innovator for his/her product and willing to take calculated risks

  • Actively contributes to team culture of innovation. Focus innovative effort on highest impact issues and areas

  • Drives process improvement initiatives that have long-term value to the business and/or the customer.

  • Gathers a wide range of information from internal and external sources to drive commercially viable decisions for the product and organization.

  • Understands how commercial decisions for a product impact other areas of the business and customer.


  • BA/BS preferably in computer engineering or math, MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience leading product management function

  • 5+ Years Financial Crimes and Compliance domain expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodology and scaled scrum processes.

  • Strong oral and written communications skills

  • Solid understanding of financial responsibilities.

  • Travel 25% with several international trips yearly
