This position leads financial teams to execution. The incumbent will demonstrate the ability to effectively translate business data insight. Participate in managing the development of annual budget and re-forecasts for the business unit. Possess the ability to provide influence to the organizational leadership, support the execution of strategy, monitor trends, identify profit drivers and participate in the development of financial tools to analyze the business.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Manages direct staff, motivates and coaches their team to take initiative and to think outside-the-box and influences employees productivity and engagement.

  • Provide leadership and analytical support of the Annual strategic business plan.

  • Provide business/financial consulting for mid-level and senior management.

  • Prepare high level financial analysis as required to support tactical decision making and problem solving.

  • Analyze weaknesses in the business performance and provide the decision support for the problem identification and correction.

  • Support business management team in problem solving and supporting the decision making process.

  • Creates/develops and implements financial process improvements.

  • Influence and mentor financial analysts in Business Management.

  • Identifies opportunities for system and processes improvements from a technical standpoint.

  • Provide influence and analytical support of the Annual and Strategic Business Plan.

  • Assist in detecting root causes of system/data inaccuracies/issues, and recommend system improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years of management experience

  • BA/BS Accounting/Finance - Master level education (MBA) or equivalent experience; Certification (CMA, CFA, or CPA)

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

  • Experience in the areas of planning and forecasting of revenue, expense, staffing and capital - Analytical skills and model building - Ability to influence above and across business units both internal and external

  • Strong understanding of financial systems
