Director of Strategic Alliances - Insurance
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States
The Director of Strategic Alliances will deliver vendor and project management objectives by managing the development, execution and cross-functional coordination of strategic alliances for the Insurance business. Acts as the coordination point for partnerships, unique content and strategic development activities that support market share growth for assigned markets. Resident expert of these market segments as a whole, understanding the customer lifecycle, competitive landscape, and key stakeholders to develop a market plan.
A successful Director of Strategic Alliances will:
Informally lead colleagues in vendor and project management and supporting functions in development and execution of a coordinated partner strategy.
Evaluate companies or products for marketing agreements or co-promotion.
Determine whether the objectives and rationale of an alliance supports the organization's overall strategy. Support negotiations between organization and potential alliances.
Work with personnel and outside contacts to satisfy both partner and company goals.
Identify potential areas to pursue future partner alliances.
Develop senior level relationships with system integrators and Alliance partners, working with the market planners, and all other facets of our business to create mutually beneficial relationships.
Success will be measured through tactical execution of initiatives, strategic wins, and overall market growth in segment
Coordinate the development and communication of market strategy consistent with RISK Solutions expectations.
Ongoing oversight / evaluation of progress against market strategy, including remedial tactics based upon current developments and / or changing management expectations.
Quantification, analysis, and communication of market and product metrics, including the recommendation of remedial actions necessary to achieve financial commitments.
Coordination of market plans and strategies ensuring effective communication and support from all functional areas.
Participate in the evaluation of acquisition targets, as required.
10+ years applicable experience in vendor/strategic alliance management
Previous consulting, product management, alliances, and/or business analyst experience
Insurance experience preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and demonstrated analytical skills
Advanced skills with MS PowerPoint and Excel.
