Compliance Manager, Insurance
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States
Demonstrates advanced knowledge and understanding of compliance, legal or auditing disciplines with knowledge of regulated industries. Anticipates internal and external business challenges and regulatory issues and recommends process or product improvements that potentially impact various areas of the business. Raises awareness of internal trends and external industry trends with Insurance Compliance Director and front-line internal stakeholders. Articulates the vision as an ambassador of the function and leading others to new ways of thinking and acting. Consistently operates with broad latitude in a complex environment. Demonstrates a high degree of independence and sound creative judgment.
Significantly contributes to the development of internal audit protocols and remediation plan strategies with front-line internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal, Product Management, Vertical, Technology and InfoSec)
Guides and instructs junior level personnel in all aspects of department compliance functions, including external audit responses and internal audit and remediation plan development and execution.
Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on business policies and processes.
Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
Preferred Education: Juris Doctorate, Masters Degree
6+ years compliance experience required
8+ years of business experience preferred
Highly organized and works well in team environment
